I get as far as the hg clone, cd and the make build. No problem - I repeated it because it seemed you missed it in the data - I tried to provide everything, but then things get buried. I suspect that the -cert isn't being passed to some calls that open a connection - but I don't speak Python & hope someone who does can untangle this quicker than me blundering about.
